Lonnie Hergott

Lonnie R. Hergott, MPT, OCS, ATC, CSCS
Lonnie and his wife Colleen moved to Columbia County eight years ago from Austin , Texas, where he was in a private orthopaedic physical therapy and sports medicine practice. They have five children ranging in ages from 10 to 1. Lonnie has a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Baylor University in Texas, and is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. He is a Certified Athletic Trainer and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Lonnie has a particular interest in human biomechanics and its relationship to orthopaedic pathology and sport performance. He has specialized training in throwing, golf mechanics, and sport performance enhancement.

Gary Gilbert Gary Gilbert, MPT, CSCS
Gary earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Movement from the University of Oregon, followed by a Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Baylor University. He served 8 years in the US Military as a physical therapist. Gary has a special interest in our WorkSTEPS program and is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. Gary and his wife Darla have three children - Jake, Tucker and Gracyn.
Kevin Zember Kevin Zember, MPT, CSCS
Kevin joined OAA in 2003. He earned a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree from Georgia Tech in 1996, followed by a Masters degree in Physical Therapy from the Medical College of Georgia in 1998. He is also a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. Kevin?s areas of experience include inpatient and outpatient physical therapy. Kevin and his wife Wendy have two children, Danielle & Colin.
Cheryl Ellis Cheryl Ellis, ATC
Cheryl is a Certified Athletic Trainer who joined OAA in 2005. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine from Georgia College & State University in 2000. From 2000-2002 she attended Georgia Southern University for graduate studies and research in Kinesiology. Cheryl has a special interest in Performance Training and Wellness.
Leslie Sherrill Leslie Sherrill, ATC, Med, CSCS
Leslie joined the OAA staff in 2005. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from North Georgia College & State University in 2000. Leslie worked as a staff athletic trainer at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA, until deciding to return to Augusta, where she earned a Masters degree in Education at Augusta State University. While at ASU Leslie served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer to the athletic teams. Leslie has a special interest in core strengthening and integrates her knowledge and skills of Pilates into our performance/wellness programs.
Kathy Wagner Kathy Wagner, MPT
Kathy joined OAA in 2007. She earned a Masters degree in Physical Therapy from the Medical College of Georgia.
